This one-evening workshop serves as a jumping off place for parents who desire a more intentional approach to the formation of good habits of character in their children.
As parents, we are the first shepherds of our children’s character development and yet this can feel like a vague & overwhelming task. Dr. Maria Montessori reminds us, as we swim through a sea of too many ideas and too little time in this modern age, that character education is best understood as a personal quest, not as a series of didactic lectures.
During our time together, we will discuss a simple, concrete approach designed to foster a home environment that is rich with real-life opportunities for children to practice habits of good character. Should you wish to join us and embark on this journey, I welcome you to share your questions & learnings with us at biehus.wordpress.com. It takes a village to raise a child and it can be so rewarding to share the adventure with others!
All parents are welcome to enroll – including those who have attended other workshops with Krista & those who have not. Space is limited. In order to maximize the workshop experience, please plan to attend with a parenting partner(s) if possible. Your spouse, partner, grandparent, nanny or friend is welcome!
